Whimsical Weekend Wrap-Up
Despite being sick, the weekend was wonderful and restful.
FriYay
After a work function, the Cutie and I drive up to Raleigh. Traffic and highway construction added to our 3 hour trip, we didn’t arrive until 10pm. Needless to say, no pictures from Friday.
Saturday
I may have done some Caroline shopping while we Mother’s Day shopped. Guess where!
When in Raleigh, I always love visiting Moon & Lola { we bought my bracelet from the store in Charleston before the Cutie asked me to marry him }.
I love their wrapping! GOLD EVERYTHING.
how cute is this knuckle ring!?
Pearls on Pearls on Pearls
pretties for his mama!
flowers, jewelry, and shopping … I think I like this Mama’s day thing.
the bracelet he helped me create
We found some pretty earrings for the Cutie’s mom, grabbed some flowers from The Fresh Market and soon after our return from the shopping spree, the family arrived for a delicious BBQ dinner.
Fallon enjoyed “whee-ing” { swinging } and it was the highlight of our day.
her expressions are the sweetest
Sunday
We piled into the car and headed to church for Sunday worship. It’s always neat to see what other church services are like. This time we visited Sister-In-Love’s church.
For lunch, we gathered at Carolina Bakery in Cameron Village and enjoyed each other’s company on the porch.
it was a beautiful day
Why are weekends always so short?
All the weekend goodness,
Saturday Outfit Details // top // shoes
Loving Victoria Beckham for Target. Her clothes are whimsically unique. I can’t wait to share more. This orange top with scalloped trim is ON SALE. I’m wearing a size SMALL. $19
These cute sandals are ON SALE at Nordstrom Rack. They come in black, brown, and dusty pink. I would not recommend wearing these for travel … wear band aids on your heels until you break them in! You can tie them around your calves or tie them around your ankles. $37
Sunday Outfit Details // Blouse // Pants // Shoes // Bracelet
The Cutie bought me this silk off the shoulder from Lilly Pulitzer. I love the pattern and fit { I’m wearing a size SMALL }. $158
These Vineyard Vine white denim jeans are a staple. You can dress them up or dress them down, I’ve worn them with patent leather heels and flipflops. If you are looking for a good pair of white jeans, click the link above. $108
Europeans know how to make shoes. I found my first pair of Marila’s in a small coastal town in Southern California. I bought them because they were adorable but now I wear them for fashionable comfort. I have a standup desk and can stand in these HEELS all. day. long. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made! I can’t find my exact pair so I’m linking another cute pair.
The Cutie picked up this Lilly Pulitzer bracelet for me because he saw all of my favs … tassels, palm leaves, flamingos, and elephants. $48
Seems like a lovely weekend!
I love that VB top!
thank you so much!!!!!
What a fun weekend! And that Lily pulitzer bracelet is so pretty & summery — he did a great job :))
