Whimsical Weekend Wrap Up

I’m blessed to have friends that continue to encourage me, speak life over me, and laugh at me when I trip over my two feet { thanks, God }. Our first stop was a Queen Park Social for brunch { duh – I mean, did you expect anything less }. We ordered queso fries { Loaded Cheese Fry } and Moscow mules { Jennie’s favorite ever } as a starter.

For my entree, I ordered the Classic Burger with sweet potato fries { the best fries – no joke}. Side bar – I’m V E R Y particular about my fries. They must have a perfectly salted, crispy outside with a softer center.

Up next, Amelie’s French Bakery for pastries and coffee. If you’ve never been to Amelie’s, you’re missing out – the eclectic vibes will give you #allthefeels and the 100s of chandeliers will make you feel so fancyyy.

I ordered a fruit Danish and “a cafe au lait because that’s what my Daddy used to make me.” The milk was perfectly frothed and the coffee was impeccably brewed. After you order, you get to sit in fancy chairs surrounded by fancy antiques … I may have played with a gold antique phone on display.

Our full bellies needed some walking-it-out so we did some exercising at the local boutiques. We stopped at Julie’s and J Crew for Fall apparel. We browsed Julie’s new fall collection Julie’s and I ended up trying things on from their 70% off rack – playing dress up is super f u n when the ladies in the store are SO friendly { P.S. You need this hat for those “dry shampoo isn’t enough” days }.

On Sunday, we dressed in our Sunday Best and went to church. If you have a job { paid or unpaid }, this sermon is for you { Episode: Living it Out }.

Whimsically Yours,
