I haven’t done one of these in a while so here’s my last Whimsical Weekend Wrap-Up for October!
Friday Night with The Cutie // We listened to Chris Stapleton and carved pumpkins.
Greg free-handed his spooky punkin and I used a template. It only took me 20 years to figure out why artwork hung on the fridge was considered “clutter” in our home growing up.
I wet the pumpkin template, pasted it to my canvas and didn’t look up until it was carved. I was mainly focused on not carving my finger, or hand, or lap. I succeeded and was able to type this today. You should be proud.
Saturdays Are for the Girls // Jennie and I went to the pumpkin patch just for the pictures since we picked pumpkins earlier this month.
After I set up this wagon, I offered to take people’s pictures for their Christmas card. They obliged but they really didn’t have a choice. As you can see, I’m really good at picking out pumpkins.
Jennie and I wanted to know why they had boxes filled with punkins at the pumpkin patch. We thought you were supposed to pick these things. From the vine. This isn’t Publix.
After frolicking around the farm, we decided to make a stop at Starbucks for a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I already know what you’re thinking…
Just about as #basic as these white pumpkins.
You should buy this dress so I can tell my mom this whole blogging thing is making me money.
I bought these shoes because they looked like genie shoes. I have this thing for I Dream of Jeanie. She blinks her eyes and her house is clean. That didn’t happen for me but it might work for you. You can buy them here. They are a perfect fit for genies but one size too small for humans.
I wore my Target sneaks to the Punkin Patch. They’re off-brand Keds and I love them.
I’m basically Taylor Swift when I wear them but without all the boy drama. Look what you made me do.
Up next? The saga continues, Craft Tasting Room and Growler Shop for a charcuterie board.
We ended the night with BBQ, twice baked potatoes, corn on the cob, and college football.
Happy Halloween!
Whimsically Yours,
