Portugal 2017 + Four Seasons Lisbon

Hi friend!

Since our next vacation is coming up in a couple of weeks, I thought I would give you a quick review of our trip to Portugal last March. I’m going to set this up as a series because I’m pretty sure I would crash the internet with all of my snapshots.

In this week’s episode, I’m going to catch you up on our first night and take you for a tour around the hotel.

We stayed in the heart of the city at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon. You can check out the hotel website here.

The service was exceptional {they treat you like you’re the queen of all of the land}, the people were kind, the rooms were fit for royalty, and the views were oh so dreamy.

From our room, we had a bird’s-eye view of the city’s stunning historic sites and I, a non-coffee drinker, had an espresso {or two} every morning {and evening} on the porch.

Still reading?? Here’s what I packed in my carry-on for the {long} flight.

An eye mask {this is seriously a life saver}, Colgate travel toothbrushes, Evian facial spray {because the plane makes my skin look like the desert floor} AND my passport {plus 11 other copies of it – thanks, Mom!} because if I didn’t capture it, I would forget it.

First Stop – Munich… because I had to get a pretzel and walk around the airport. I’m quite sure that this is the only airport in the world where you could lick the floor and not ever get sick {go ahead, try it}.

Next Stop – Lisboa!!

We arrived to fresh fruit, robes, and slippers. I so badly wanted to nap but knew that if I did, the jet lag would catch up to me. So I didn’t and was good as new in the morning {Pro Tip: to avoid jet lag, rest on the plane, stay up until night time in Europe, and go to sleep NIGHT TIME, their time, not US time}.

Here’s how I unpacked in the bathroom – I definitely utilized their nice glasses for my makeup.

For our first meal in Lisbon, we dined at the hotel’s buffet. Since we were so hungry, I only had the chance to snap the dessert and our outfits! IMG_0163

We so loved getting dressed up for dinner.

This was our view at dinner.

And here come the beautiful hotel snaps!

I hope you plan a trip to Lisbon in the near future, and if you do, you’ll contact me!

Whimsically Yours,

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
