I haven’t given a wedding update in quite some time so I figured it was long overdue. Many of my kind followers have been so sweet to ask for the wedding details and it truly means the world.
Things are moving along just fine – vendors booked, invitations sent, decor planned and my amazing mom has been in charge of it all. She has been working closely with my sweet wedding planner, Melanie Murphy of By Invitation Only. Melanie and her team are so incredible and go above and beyond our wildest dreams. I love that her team tends to every little detail so we have less to worry about and more time to enjoy the planning process.
There’s your quick planning update, my dolls! As soon as the wedding is over, I will be back to blogging but for now, I just want to share about my bridal shower hosted by some of my mama’s closest friends. This post serves not only as my diary to look back on after the wedding planning days are long gone but to share party ideas with you.

Here we go…
After landing back in the States from Aruba, I drove straight home on Friday night for the shower. It had been raining nonstop when we left the country but this particular Saturday in South Carolina, it was beautiful and sunny. It felt as though the Lord was winking and smiling and sending rays of sunshine our way. On Saturday morning, my Florence family met us at our house and we drove to the party. We were the first ones there but everything was gorgeous and set up beautifully. Erin (tagging her jewelry website here) is a total girl boss and created many of the decor pieces, including the PHOTO WALL. Y’all… as soon as I saw it, I think I leaped for joy. Erin was able to capture me with all the guests in front of the decorated wall. These photos will last a lifetime.
The ladies set up the prettiest mimosa bar with darling pink prosecco bottles and as soon as we said the blessing, we munched on the most delicious brunch, and I opened the sweetest presents from the closest friends. Enjoy the pictures c/o Erin (pictured below).
Happy Easter, peeps. Oh, how He loves us.
